CV Show 2012 open for business

The UK’s 2012 Commercial Vehicle Show is shaping up nicely and pre-registration for free tickets is now open for business on the official web site. Truck manufacturers may be somewhat thin on the ground, but the van makers are turning out in force; the only notable exception at the moment is Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.Ford is flying in journalists from across Europe for “something special”, Vauxhall will be launching its all-new Combo line-up — based on Fiat’s Doblò — and Isuzu will be unveiling its next generation Rodeo pick-up. Word on the street has it that Mercedes-Benz will be giving its new Renault Kangoo-based City Van its world debut at the European Transport Show in Amsterdam the previous week, but we would be surprised if it doesn’t make an appearance in Birmingham; no reason why not.
Taking place on 24 – 26 April at the NEC, Birmingham, it’s a free-to-enter event, but pre-registration speeds up entry significantly.
