Check UK traffic and road conditions with Tracker
During the cold snap it’s worth visiting the Tracker web site before leaving home to find out what lies ahead.Fleet tracking and vehicle recovery specialists Tracker has added a free-to-enter Traffic section to its web site. Before setting off drivers can gain access to UK-wide roadside cameras to get up-to-the-minute views of road conditions.
Using standard Google map controls, Tracker Traffic and Travel can also display current local traffic congestion, roadworks and accidents.
“It looks like we may be in for another cold winter, making Tracker’s web-based service an essential tool for motorists, in a bid to keep Britain moving and help them spend less time stuck in traffic,” said Tracker MD Stephen Doran.
For those on the move the latest traffic information can be accessed by calling the Tracker hotline from any mobile on 60010. Calls cost 60p/minute.
