Commercial Vehicle Show 2017

25 – 27 April: NEC, Birmingham

CV Show 2017 LogoThe great annual British Commercial Vehicle Show is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, from 25 to 27 April 2017 inclusive and will once again be taking up Halls 3, 4 & 5; the same as in 2016. Doors will be open from 08:30 to 17:30 daily and pre-registration, which is highly recommended to speed up entry and is free, will go live on 9 January 2017.

Heavy truck manufacturers are returning en masse for 2017, but there some light commercial vehicle players notable by their absence; Isuzu Truck, Iveco (although Guest Truck & Van have a small stand in Hall 3), Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Renault Trucks and Vauxhall. Those listed to attend on the current floorplan are: Citroën, Fiat Professional, Ford, Isuzu, LDV, MAN Truck & Bus, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Renault, SsangYong, Toyota and Volkswagen. Shiny new metal isn't the only reason for a visit, however, there will also be a wide selection of accessory and service suppliers to whet the appetite.

Star of the show, van-wise, will undoubtedly be the all-new VW Crafter making its UK debut in Hall 4. It will also be present on the MAN stand in Hall 5, badged as the TGE.
Pick-up-wise it'll be worth paying the Isuzu stand in Hall 5 a visit to check out the revised D-Max, complete with its new 1.9-litre Euro 6 diesel engine.
