Commercial Vehicle Show returns to NEC in 2011
The UK’s CV Show 2011 will be held from 12 to 14 April next year at the Birmingham NEC.A free-to-enter show, it was cancelled in 2009 due to the greed-induced banking crisis triggering the worst recession for decades, this year’s event took on a different, and much lower key, form; the Commercial Vehicle Operator Show.
More than 400 exhibitors are expected to sign up and organisers have said that as the UK emerges from recession, next year’s ‘vital show will help to create market growth by producing a business-to-business event representing all sectors of the road transport and logistics business’.
“The ability to deliver consistent improvements in all aspects of road freight transport efficiency is vital in tough markets,” commented Nick Jones, chairman of the CV Show. “As operators remain cautious, suppliers must be competitive. Without doubt, past experience shows the Commercial Vehicle Show is ideally placed to provide excellent opportunities for sales and growth.”
