ESP on Vans Explained
ESP, or Electronic Stability Programme to give it its full title, is either standard or available as an option on all light commercials. But what is it exactly? VansA2Z editor Neil McIntee caught up with Martin Sismey from Bosch at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Van Experience where its latest 9th generation system was being graphically demonstrated to visitors in a variety of vehicles.In the view of VansA2Z, ESP is an essential part of a light commercial vehicle’s DNA these days and if not fitted as standard, it should be at the top of the list of options to have fitted. Not to mince words, it can be a life-saver.
