Fiat adds dropside conversion to Doblò line-up
What do you get when you cross a Doblò Cargo with a pick-up? the Doblò Work-Up, of course.First shown as a static exhibit at the European press launch of the current generation Doblò at the end of 2009 and then as a prototype on the Fiat Professional stand at the Hanover CV Show last September, the Work-Up has become a reality.
Due to go on sale in the UK this September, the Work-Up is a factory-fitted dropside conversion. Featuring aluminium sides and tailgate, all of which can be dropped through 180°, it has a gross payload potential of around one tonne.
It just goes to show how versatile the Doblò's award-winning independent Bi-link rear suspension really is in practice. The price of the Work-Up will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
