Ford leads the way with entry-level Transits
As Transit celebrates its 45th birthday Ford has introduced special edition ‘Leader’ entry-level models.Priced at £11,995 and £9,995 respectively, the Transit and Transit Connect Leaders represent extremely good value for money. The current Transit price list starts at £17,155 with its baby brother clocking in at £13,345.
The Transit Leader is a front-wheel drive 85hp 2.2-litre TDCi 260 short-wheelbase, low roof van which comes in any colour so long as its white. Load restraint rails and Bluetooth connectivity can be added as optional extras. Available in red or blue, as well as white, the Connect Leader is a short-wheelbase 200 with the 75hp 1.8TDCi under the bonnet.
