Full-Body Makeover for Fiat Doblò Cargo
Fiat’s light van contender, the Doblò Cargo, has undergone a radical re-design to bring it bang up-to-date.It gets all-new exterior styling and cab, and will be available with a choice of two wheelbases and two roof heights. This means that it will be able to offer load areas ranging from 3.4m3 to 4.2m3, with a maximum load length of 2,200mm and a width between the wheel boxes of 1,230mm. Gross payloads range from 750kg to 1,000kg.
The engine line-up extends to three turbodiesels — 90hp 1.3, 105hp 1.6 and 135hp 2.0 — and a 95hp petrol. Expected to go on sale in the UK from March 2010 the new Doblò Cargo will be available as a five-seater Combi as well as a two-seater van.
