London to host world's first Eco2 Transport Show
The major new exhibition and conference will be at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre from 16 – 18 November.
With transport costs rising on a daily basis and ever stricter emissions regulations being put in place the job of anyone involved in the transport industry has never been more demanding.The time is right for the launch of a new event to bring together experts, operators and suppliers under the one roof to exchange ideas and present current real-world products that help to get to grips with the economical and environmental problems.
As well as the many conference speakers Eco2 Transport will present over 100 leading providers, with exciting launches taking place, including the cargo solution that could take 25 per cent of trucks off the road.
Sectors covered include electric vehicles — including vans — the installation of an EV infrastructure, vehicle tracking and telematics, driver training and lubricant technology.
“Eco2 Transport is not an academic talking shop. It's all about engaging with the business user, highlighting the fact that due to only very recent developments, carbon-cutting and cost efficiency now frequently go hand in hand, and giving them the tools to act now,” said Charles Troy, the event director.
“We're bringing together for the first time on a significant scale the key stakeholders and solutions providers who have answers on how to increase sustainability in the transport of goods and mobility of people, and connecting them with the business end-user,” he continued. “It is absolutely a must-attend event. Increased sustainability is no longer a business choice, it's a necessity, and in the current economic climate, the related cost efficiencies cannot be ignored.”
