Minibus and two Combis join Movano line-up
A 17-seater Minibus, along with six- and nine-seater Combis have been added to Vauxhall’s Movano line-up. All three are converted on the production line.Powered by a 125hp 2.3CTDi, and available with either a six-speed manual or semi-auto Tecshift transmission, the 17-seater (including the driver) has double seating down the offside and an offset row of single seats running down the nearside.
The rearmost seating can be specified as removable to provide load space when required, leaving either 15, 14 or 13 passenger seats.
The fully trimmed interior includes overhead coat racks, sliding rear side window and walk-way illumination. A wide-opening sliding side door and standard electrically operated retracting side step ensure easy passenger access. Additional comfort is provided by individual down-lighting for every seat and the option of air conditioning which can even be supplied with individual aircraft-style ventilation nozzles.Based on a short-wheelbase low roof Movano (L1H1), the six-seater Combi comes with the 100hp 2.3-litre diesel. Move up to the medium-wheelbase medium roof (L2H2) version and there’s the choice of either the 125hp or 150hp versions of the same powerplant.
A full ESP system, including Traction Control, comes as standard on all three of these new front-wheel drive additions.
Unfortunately, Vauxhall hasn’t provided a full price breakdown for these new Movano models, so all we can say at this stage is that Combi prices go from £28,665 on-the-road (incl VAT) and the Minibus starts at £29,798.33 (excl VAT).
