Mitsubishi debuts i-MiEV Cargo concept
With the electric i-MiEV supermini passenger car about to undergo trials in the UK, Mitsubishi will unveil a light commercial vehicle concept version at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
Rear-wheel drive, the Cargo has an overall length of 3,395mm and manages to provide a load length of 1,180mm with a maximum width and height of 1,350mm and 1,100mm respectively.
Power comes from a 47kW permanent magnet synchronous electric motor which is capable of developing peak torque of 180Nm. Maximum range on a full charge is quoted as being 100 miles.
