Tevo takes Modul-System on Irish road trip
Tevo imports Swedish Modul-System modular racking into the UK and has just returned from extolling the virtues of the latest lightweight products.Saving weight and minimising load space intrusion are paramount when it comes to racking systems. Modul-System has tackled both. Using ‘intelligent design’ means it’s new system takes up a reduced amount of space, freeing up more of the cargo area.
The combination of high tensile steel, aluminium and plastic means it is up to 30 per cent lighter than other van racking systems. This increases payload capability, reduces fuel consumption and lowers carbon emissions. Almost all the materials used are recyclable at the end of their useful life, ensuring the Modul-System range of racking has minimal impact on the environment.
A fully fitted-out medium-wheelbase, high roof Ford Transit visited Tevo’s Northern Ireland dealership — Total Van Solutions in Mallusk, near Belfast — and then moved south of the border to Van Conversions & Linings (01-0457 0178) in Clondalkin, West Dublin.
Chris Dodd, Area Sales Manager for Tevo said: “Every kilo of weight a van carries increases its fuel burn. With pump prices higher than ever, the Modul-System range can help lighten the load as well as providing a bespoke racking solution.”
The same demonstrator can be viewed on Tevo’s stand at the CV Show in April.
