New Isuzu D-Max to debut at CV Show 2017
Isuzu UK has confirmed that the latest generation D-Max 4x4 pick-up will make its public debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April (NEC, 25 – 27). It will be unveiled at 10.00 on the Isuzu stand in Hall 5 (F40) on the first day of the show.It has been extensively revised with a re-worked front-end and power coming from an all-new 1.9-litre Euro 6 turbodiesel capable of producing maximum power of 164hp and 360Nm of peak torque. D-Max retains its 3.5 tonne towing capacity and one tonne payload, and refinement is claimed to be much improved. As with the current models two- to high range four-wheel drive is selected electronically and can be done on-the-fly. Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist are now fitted across the range as standard. Inside the revised cab, a range of new touchscreen entertainment systems are available, equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The entry-level Utility D-Max, priced from £15,749 (OTR, excl VAT) comes equipped with LED daytime running lights, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Bluetooth connectivity, power windows and air conditioning. Eiger double cab (from £20,499) adds a reversing camera, 16in alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers and six speaker audio system.
Yukon (from £20,499) adds 18in alloy wheels, silver side steps, new seven-inch multi-function touchscreen, LED rear lights, Cruise Control, rear load liner and a leather steering wheel. Moving up to Utah (from £24,149) takes the goodies up a notch with keyless entry and push-button start, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, roof bars, leather upholstery with heated front seats, rear parking sensors and automatic air conditioning.
The range-topping Blade (from £26,999) adds tinted windows, nine-inch multi-function touchscreen, remote locking tailgate, Blade puddle lamps, front and rear parking sensors, and a colour-coded Aeroklas canopy or sports bar with roller cover.
