Peugeot to facelift Partner and Expert in 2012
The French manufacturer has announced that its Partner and Expert ranges will get a mild facelift this year. The current models only date back to 2007/2008 so it’s unlikely that there will be any major design updates or changes to the current Euro 5 drivetrains, introduced towards the end of 2011. The revised models are likely to get their UK public debut at the CV Show in April. No firm details have been released, but we suspect it’s to differentiate the Euro 5 models from their Euro 4 predecessors, a move which will have a positive effect on residual values in the used van market further down the line. Naturally, the design refresh will also apply to the corresponding Citroën Berlingo and Dispatch, as well as Fiat’s version of the latter, the Scudo. Fiat sells its in-house designed Doblò Cargo — to be launched very soon by Vauxhall rebadged as Combo — against Berlingo/Partner.
