Pick-up ladder racks extend AluRack range

American roof rack specialist Prime Design has expanded its AluRack range to include a configurable system for pick-ups like the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and the upcoming Volkswagen Amarok.

Designed specifically for securely transporting long items like ladders and piping the racking is constructed from heavy-duty lightweight aluminium alloy.

The frame is secured on top of the load bed sidewalls using damped mounts to avoid damage and the basic version comes with two crossbars. It includes anti-slip rubber inserts and adjustable cargo stops.

Optional side rails are available which allow additional crossbars to be fitted to optimise load capacity and weight distribution.

Additional accessories include LadderClamps which negate the need for lashing ties, a roller at the rear to aid the loading of ladders and a variety of lockable pipe tubes.
