RAC Future Car Challenge set for 2011 run
First run last year, the Brighton to London RAC Future Car Challenge zero emission and low carbon vehicle economy run will take place again this year on 5 November. That’s the day before the world famous London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.The two events meet in, and completely take over, Regent Street in London on the Saturday afternoon in front of an audience of around 250,000.
Following the huge success of the 2010 event, the number of entries has been raised from 60 to between 80 and 90 and RAC awards will be presented in 15 categories of vehicle and energy usage type. Entries are open to members of the public as well as manufacturers.
