Real-time eco driving feedback from TomTom
Active Driver Feedback (ADF), one of the new innovations from TomTom Business Solutions, enables drivers to see their real-time fuel consumption at a glance on their PRO sat nav. ADF displays actual and average journey fuel economy in the TomTom PRO’s status bar. A green fuel icon indicates if they are achieving below average fuel consumption, while a red icon alerts them of uneconomical, above average, consumption.
It also displays an idling alert, indicating how much fuel may have been wasted, and icons warning of excessive steering or braking appear when necessary. An EcoStatistics menu option is also available to show a snapshot view of performance over a selected period; a specific journey, day or an overall total.
For fleet managers, Webfleet OptiDrive makes the interpretation of driver information much simpler by displaying performance for speeding, fuel efficiency, idling and braking all on one easy-to-read indicator bar.
