Vauxhall sets London LCV ‘scrappage’ deals
With the impending changes to London’s low emission zone due to kick-in at the beginning of 2012 (see News Story), Vauxhall has joined other major manufacturers in offering a ‘scrappage’ scheme. Trade-in an old smoker at a London Retail Group dealer — there are 35 in and around the M25 — and savings can be had on virtually the entire Vauxhall range of light commercials. The trade-in offers apply to vans older than seven years and there are discounts of £3,000 to be had on the list price of a new Corsavan, £4,000 against an Astravan or Combo, £5,500 for a Vivaro and a massive £7,500 against a new Movano. These offers apply until the end of 2011.
“With this exceptional offer, Vauxhall is once again supporting its customers with a compelling, value-for-money package to help them meet their day-to-day needs in a tough economic environment. Vauxhall is the only manufacturer to offer eco-models across its commercial vehicle range and these too are part of our attractive swappage scheme,” said Richard Collier, Vauxhall's National Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager.
