ePower Trucks takes on GEM EV distribution
ePower Trucks has been appointed the sole distributor of Global Electric Motorcars (GEM) battery-powered vehicles in the UK. ePower already looks after the sale, hire and service of the Alke AT and XT series of electric utility trucks and the Tomberlin VANISH road-legal electric UTV.Capable of carrying a gross payload of 658kg on its 1,788 x 1,220mm flatbed, the road-legal GEM elXD utility truck has a range of up to 40 miles using a 7hp, 8V DC electric motor. The nine maintenance-free gel batteries can be recharged to 80 per cent in one hour using the fast-charge option. A selection of body conversions are available and it’s an ideal quiet, emission-free vehicle for estates management.
