ecoFLEX models for entire Vauxhall van range
Following the introduction of the 105g/km of CO2 Corsavan ecoFLEX Start/Stop last year, Vauxhall has become the first van manufacturer to offer an ‘eco’ version of each model in its line-up.There are two 2.0CDTi Vivaro options — 90hp and 115hp — both of which have CO2 outputs of 185g/km, down from the standard vans’ 215g/km.
Movano ecoFLEX is based on a 100hp 2.3CDTi L2H2 3.3-tonner, but comes with a tyre repair kit in lieu of a spare wheel, is speed-limited to 56mph and has manual windows, door mirrors and no central locking; remote or otherwise. These measures take the CO2 output down from 230g/km to 202g/km. Astravan and Combo will see the lowest CO2 derivatives badged as ecoFLEX.
“Green credentials are becoming a higher priority for customers looking to reduce the carbon footprint of their vehicles,” said Steve Bryant, brand manager, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles. “Our vans have always been known for their low running costs and the ecoFLEX badge clearly identifies to our customers the lowest CO2 model for each vehicle in our range.”
